On Wednesday July 21, 2010 Phil Pender SAFBVA Life member #2328 and New England Regional Squadron Coordinator, held a meeting with New Hampshire veterans at the Airport Diner, in Manchester, NH for the purpose of forming a new local squadron. Phil opened the meeting welcoming everyone and then spoke about the importance of the local squadrons and their importance in keeping the name of Sampson alive.The vets in attendance all enjoyed the companionship and relating stories about their experiences while at Sampson and other AF bases. They also agreed to hold future meetings at this location.
